POST EVENT PRESS CONFERENCE (spoilers):

*We now join the IGL post event press conference currently in progress. IGL President Michael Blackburne is answering questions along with ring physician Doc Johnson and commentator Rude Ron Wiggins.*

IGL President Michael Blackburne: Thank you all for coming, we hope you enjoyed the show! *points to a reporter*

Reporter: We saw Bai Hu get knocked out by Chuck Madrox this evening and it looked serious. Is there any update on his condition? Also, going back to the Intercontinental Title tournament, this is the second time in three months that Bai Hu has been injured in a match. Are you concerned about this?

IGL President Michael Blackburne: We checked out Bai Hu after the match tonight and it seems he has a pretty bad concussion following Chuck Madrox's "R.I.P." finisher. We will continue to monitor him this evening. As for him getting injured twice in recent matches, we do take this into consideration when booking and we will re-evaluate Bai Hu's schedule moving forward. Next question! *points*

Reporter: The Afflicted were spectacular in their victory over Royale By Nature tonight. Does this put them in line for a tag team title shot?

IGL President Michael Blackburne: Yes, it has already been determined that The Chon and Reaxion will be taking on The Swashbucklers at the November 26th Friday Nights Main Event. I'd like to point out that we do follow "the Freebird Rule" here in the IGL so it has not been determined if The Chon will be joined by Reaxion or Crossfade. Last question.

Reporter: The brutal post match attack on Marsh the Great was cut off from live TV but those of us in the USA Dome saw security guards finally break up the attack and Marsh was brought backstage on a stretcher. What is his status and what is the leagues official response to this attack?

Doc Johnson: Marsh suffered a back injury and some swollen ribs from the attack but surprisingly he got up and walked out on his own. It was a despicable attack and he's lucky he wasn't seriously injured!

IGL President Michael Blackburne: As for the leagues official response, it happened after the match and did not break any rules we currently have. I don't want to open the floodgates to attacks like this, but to be honest we have no intent on punishing our competitors for any post match brawls that might occur.

*reporters start to mumble about this*

IGL President Michael Blackburne: That's all the time we have, thank you for showing up!

Inside The IGL (late night talk show)

*as you click through endless cable television channels you stumble across...*

*The scene is the studio set of "Inside The IGL", a long red desk seating three (Doc Johnson, Rude Ron Wiggins, IGL President Michael Blackburne). Giant monitors behind the desk depict the bloodied IGL World Champion Julian Caesaro raising the title belt atop a steel cage to a sea of camera flashes*

Doc Johnson (DOC): Hey there fight fans! Welcome to another edition of Inside The IGL, where we take a close up look at the happenings in the league and look forward to upcoming matches. I'm Doc Johnson and here with me in the studio is IGL President Michael Blackburne and Rude Ron Wiggins.

Rude Ron Wiggins (RR): Tonight we are going to look back at last weeks Halloween supercard Berzerker 2010 and discuss the fallout from those amazing matches!

IGL President Michael Blackburne (MB): Then it's fast forward to this Friday Night's Main Event, where we have explosive match ups in store! First let's talk about what we saw on Halloween Night at Berzerker. What a wild night of matches!

RR: The match everyone is talking about still this week is that steel cage match between Julian Caesaro and Athrin. Julian somehow managed to beat Athrin who is rumored to be injured after that match!

DOC: I did not personally tend to Athrin after that match as he is rarely seen backstage, but what I can tell you is that he is currently not being booked and has been seen in training with extensive bandages around his chest. This could mean some kind of rib injury caused by Julian's "Avalon's Curse" finisher or perhaps even as far back as that sledgehammer match with Wharghoul!

MB: There is some speculation that Athrin's recent schedule against high profile opponents may have been a factor in his rematch with Julian. We can only guess at this point.

RR: And finally we see Royston Fairfax win his first title, not with his star tag team but with Kyoto! What a huge upset victory!

DOC: That was indeed a shocker! Kyoto has been on a rampage in the league as of late and his rematch victory against Zachariah Zealot made it a short title reign for the ex champ!

MB: The Fairfax Estate came close to winning the tag team titles as well, with the Kensington Wrecking Crew losing a tough match against those crazy Swashbucklers, who have denied the Wrecking Crew twice now to hold on to the tag belts. The question now is, who will stop them? They have dominated the IGL tag team scene since their arrival.

RR: I expect Royale By Nature or The Afflicted to rise to that challenge, Mr. Blackburne! And we'll see those two great teams this friday at the USA Dome!

DOC: That's right Ron! More about this Friday's matches after these brief words from our sponsors!

*commercials*

DOC: And we're back! So this Friday many questions will be answered... My question is: which match are you looking forward to most, Mr. President?

MB: Doc I have to say this main event between Machete and Marsh The Great is going to be the most important match on the card. Both wrestlers have been rising steadily in the rankings and have shown enough skill and drive to be major title contenders. This match will determine who will continue their rise and possibly get in line for a major titleshot!

RR: Yeah that might be an important match, but speaking for the fans, this Friday is all about The Chon facing off against Julian Caesaro in a tag team match! These two haven't faced each other since Julian won the world title from The Chon back in July. You know how worked up The Chon gets! He has months of pent up hate after losing the title. This is his big opportunity to unleash on the champ!

DOC: The Chon brings with him to this tag match fellow Afflicted member Reaxion, who is one of the largest, most powerful wrestlers in the IGL. Julian will of course be tagging up with his brother Markus Caesaro. Which of these two will bring the biggest advantage to the match?

MB: That's a tough question, Doc. Reaxion has the power, but from what little we have seen of Markus, he has a ferocity that is unmatched. This should be one of the most exciting tag matches we have seen in some time!

DOC: When we come back, another installment of the IGL Spotlight! Stay tuned!

*commercials!*

MB: Tonight the IGL Spotlight focuses on one of the biggest fan favorites in the IGL. He is respected by nearly all of his opponents as a true ring veteran and has fought more matches in the IGL than any other competitor. That man is Bai Hu!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The IGL Spotlight: Bai Hu

Bai Hu was one of the first wrestlers to join the IGL and has been among the most elite in the league since the beginning. He possesses an incredible balance of skill, strength and speed which has earned him the reputation as one of the most balanced wrestlers in competition today.

Bai Hu is known for his wicked chops and powerful striking ability. He is also highly efficient in submission maneuvers due to his extensive training in Japan with Songhi Muto. On rare occasions Bai Hu also unleashes incredible top rope maneuvers such as an amazing moonsault which he has used to great effectiveness in the past.

Bai Hu has been a constant fixture in the top rankings of the IGL. He has defeated some of the biggest names in the league including Athrin, The Chon, Kyoto and Zachariah Zealot. He has faced Julian Caesaro once but lost in a tough Intercontinental Title match. He has wrestled in more matches than any other competitor in the league with a record fifteen singles bouts.

Bai Hu has seen great success outside of the IGL as well, having won the Silencer Championship Wrestling World Title.

Please take a moment to watch some of Bai Hu’s greatest matches in the IGL!
